Handmade Frames

About Our Frames

Frames are handmade by Matt and his team a the Preservation Framer. Frames are 1.5" deep and made of solid wood, available in Black & White for Prints, and available in Black, White, and Gray for Original work. Most Original work smaller than 18 x 18” includes a complimentary frame if you choose to add one during checkout. Most Prints smaller than 18 x 18” have the option of adding a frame in the corresponding size for an additional fee.

We do our best to keep all our sizes in stock, but as frames are all handmade it can take up to 2-3 weeks to process and ship your order if it includes frames. We generally ship orders each week on Mondays & Tuesdays but we also do our best to accommodate special requests and expedited fulfillment, so please contact me directly if you have a question or concern.

The Preservation Framer

Since the beginning of my business, I’ve wanted to source my materials in a way that supports my local economy of makers, artisans, and families. I met Matt right when he was opening his shop & gallery years ago and then in 2020 our paths crossed again in the form of a collaboration of small business owners working together to adapt to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021 my business reached a place where I could afford to make the change and with so many aligned missions, I am thrilled to now source all of my frames from the Preservation Framer team.

The Preservation Framer is a family-owned "micro-business" specializing in design solutions for custom picture framing and presentation. They opened in 2008 in the suburb of North Attleboro, a once-thriving jewelry town. Drawn to the historic esthetic of the post-industrial architecture they were able to bring back to life the tin ceilings, brick walls, and hardwood floors of their beautiful showroom. The Preservation Framer is focused on serving the community, supporting the arts, and providing unparalleled design services for picture framing, digital photo restoration, and printing.
